6 years ago, 2 weeks into ECQ, while watching Netflix, I randomly craved for Lasagna so I asked JP to buy ingredients in the grocery so we could have it for dinner. Since it was the height of the lockdown and there was nothing much to do, I took photos after baking and posted immediately in our condo marketplace on facebook, just in case there would be any interested buyers. 5 strangers actually ordered and I initially felt dumbfounded yet kilig while preparing the first batch, hoping they would like it despite the very limited ingredients. During this time I was just staying in a 1BR unit with only 1x Philips induction cooker, 23L Samsung smart oven and 7cu ft. ref โ just enough for personal cooking needs and very far from business capabilities.
After JP delivered the orders in their respective units, we finally started eating our dinner. In the middle of our meal, my phone kept buzzing but I didnโt mind it first as I hate ruining meals with phone presence. When I finally opened my inbox, it was flooded with messages from the buyers and I felt nervous clicking themโฆ till I gathered enough guts to read them one by one. Letโs just sayโฆ all 5 of them reordered ๐๐ข๐ข๐๐๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ก๐ฎ and the rest is history. I will never forget the first 5 neighbors who gambled on me and paved the way to what I call my โpandemic miracle babyโ to be born โ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ ๐

My initial offerings were just MangoBanana Cream, Lengua and Lasagna. I named them after Mama, Papa and Q my angel pug dog. Eventually the menu grew over the years and the dishes are based on my family's names and our mom's ๐ฅ๐๐ฉ๐ฃ๐๐ข๐๐จ for each of us - together with relatives and beloved friends who were regular guests in our home in Sct. Fuentebella that turned into "ampons".
It was during a worlwide pandemic when the Lord magically gifted me with this and now that the world is facing another major crisis that strongly affects the food industry and small businesses, I am immensely grateful to still be sharing my passion and deeply pray that weโll still get to serve more of you and your loved ones soon.
