SAIGON FOOD DIARY - THAT’S A WRAP! 🍜☕️✨

And that’s officially a wrap on our Vietnam food trip! 😂🇻🇳

From Michelin Bib Gourmand finds, local sidewalk eats, Vietnamese coffee, pho, matcha, pasta, and everything in between, we definitely ate our way through Saigon! 🤤

Some were instant favorites, some were just okay, but every stop was part of the experience. ❤️

Our tummies were happy, our wallets… not so much. 😂💸

Until the next food trip! ✈️🍜

📍 Kalinaw Coffee Co. – Fairview ☕🤍

Visited the newly renovated Kalinaw Coffee in Fairview, and we love the fresh new look! The space feels brighter, more spacious, and even cozier than before.

We paired our coffee with some of their food, and everything was satisfying. The coffee was smooth, well-balanced, and not too sweet just the way we like it.

If you're around Fairview, this is definitely a nice spot to chill, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a good cup of coffee. ☕✨

📍 Chef Joel 🍢🔥

Napadaan lang kami sa store nila and decided to order takeout and sulit talaga!

Ito yung mga na-try namin:
🍢 Isaw ng Manok
🐷 Bituka ng Baboy
👂 Tenga ng Baboy
🍖 Pork BBQ

Generous ang serving size, juicy ang pagkaka-ihaw, at ang smoky flavor hits the spot. Pero ang standout for us? Yung s**a nila na may pipino at sibuyas, perfect partner sa bawat tusok at lalo nitong pinasarap ang ihaw. 🤤

Definitely worth checking out! 👌

📍 Some Thai, Tomas Morato ✨

Is a 2-hour wait worth it for a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant? We had to find out ourselves.

We dropped by on a Sunday, fully expecting a crowd but we didn't expect to wait almost two hours just to get a table. 😅 Still, after that first bite, we completely understood why Some Thai has become one of the most talked-about Thai restaurants in the metro. Was it worth the wait? Keep reading.

🍗 Drizzled Chicken Food Review 🍟

Had a quick lunch in Maginhawa, and we finally tried this chicken spot in town!

We got the Drizzy Supreme Box plus an extra chicken tender, and grabe… carbs on carbs talaga! 😂 It comes with rice, fries, mac and cheese, and mashed potato, so if you’re super hungry, this is the meal.

The chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside. We tried it with both the Ranch and Original sauces, and honestly, both were so good. The Ranch was creamy and super bagay with the chicken, while the Original gave it that classic savory flavor.

If you’re looking for a sulit comfort food meal that will definitely fill you up, this one’s worth checking out. Basta come hungry because this box doesn’t play. 🤭🍗

📍Ijo Bakery Review 🥐☕

For coffee, we ordered their Cappuccino and Spanish Latte.

Have you tried Ijo Bakery? Anong favorite pastry ninyo?
