Sometimes, we have our own plans for how our lives should turn out. We make our own timelines, set our own expectations, and hope that everything will happen exactly the way we imagined.
But sometimes, God has a different plan.

"Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." โ Proverbs 19:21
"Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord." โ Psalm 27:14
The story of Peter reminds us that our plans may change, but God's purpose remains. What may seem like a mistake, a delay, or a disappointment can become part of something greater when we place it in God's hands.
Waiting is not always easy. There are moments when we want answers immediately, when we feel like nothing is happening, or when we wonder if our dreams will ever come true. But God's timing is not a sign that He has forgotten us. Sometimes, the waiting itself is where He prepares us for what He has planned.
May this week's devotion remind us to surrender our plans, trust God's purpose, and patiently wait for His timing. We don't have to have everything figured out. We simply need to trust the One who does. ๐ค
