🌱 Step-by-Step: How to Build a Simple Fodder System for Livestock.🐂

1️⃣ Build the Rack
Use PVC pipes or another sturdy material to create a vertical rack. Make sure it is stable, well-ventilated, and allows water to drain from each tray.
2️⃣ Prepare the Trays & Seeds
Use shallow trays with drainage holes. Barley, wheat, oats, and other suitable grains can be used. Clean and soak the seeds according to the seed type before placing them in the trays.
3️⃣ Spread the Seeds
Spread the soaked seeds evenly in a thin layer across each tray. Avoid overcrowding, which can encourage mold and poor airflow.
4️⃣ Water Regularly
Keep the seeds and growing mat moist but not waterlogged. Water several times a day as needed, depending on temperature, humidity, and drainage.
5️⃣ Allow the Fodder to Grow
Keep the system in a clean area with good airflow and suitable light. Check the trays daily for mold, unpleasant odors, or poor drainage.
6️⃣ Harvest & Feed
Depending on the grain and growing conditions, fodder is commonly harvested around 7–10 days when it has developed a dense green mat and good root growth. Introduce it as part of a balanced livestock ration rather than relying on sprouted fodder alone.🌾
