Paksiw na bangus with pork

2 pirasong bangus (malalaki, hiniwa sa serving pieces)
200g baboy (liempo o belly, hiniwa sa maliliit na cubes)
1/2 tasa s**a
1 tasa tubig
1 malaking sibuyas (hiniwa)
4 pirasong bawang (dinurog)
1 pirasong luya (hiniwa pahaba)
3–4 piraso siling haba (hiniwa o buo)
2 kutsarita pamintang buo
1–2 kutsara asin (o ayon sa panlasa)
1–2 kutsara mantika (para sa baboy)

Procedures:

1. Sa kaldero, mag-init ng kaunting mantika.

2. Iprito ang baboy hanggang maglabas ng mantika at mag-light brown.

3. Sa ibabaw ng baboy, ayusin ang hiniwang bangus.

4. Ilagay ang sibuyas, bawang, luya, siling haba, at pamintang buo.

5. Ibuhos ang s**a at tubig. Huwag muna haluin. Takpan at pakuluan sa katamtamang init ng mga 5 minuto para mawala ang hilaw na asim ng s**a.

6. Pagkatapos kumulo, hinaan ang apoy at pakuluan pa ng 15–20 minuto o hanggang maluto ang bangus at lumambot ang baboy.

Steak as in beef steak has its own version called Bistek Tagalog or Filipino beef steak. The dish was inherited from Spanish influence. It is adapted with beecsteak with onions and fused it with local flavors like soy sauce and calamansi that is taken from a dish, bistec encebollado. It is marinade, meaning thinly sliced beef marinated in soy sauce on calamansi extract with garlic. The beef is braised or shimmered instead of grilled like Western steak served with rice but on perfect twist of onion rings on top. Recipe from Spanish and English that we truly love to serve in every occassion.
