Proof that orpingtons really sit on their eggs.
The chicks are mix breeds thats why they have black color at the back.
Our test Buff Orpington hen finally hatched her eggs after 21 days. This shows that orpingtons really are broody and good mother to their chicks. So if your looking for chickens that are good layers, can be for meat consumption, for pet with its beautiful golden color, and at the same time broody, we highly suggest the orpington breeds.
PS:Color of the hen is a bit pale because the nutrients in her body was being focused on her eggs before.
