In her younger days, Lucrecia Reyes Bernales Andama worked for her aunt, the Engracia Reyes, wife of Justice Alexander Reyes, of the famous Aristocrat Restaurant. Her job was to scout the eateries in the area, dissecting different dishes and incorporating their recipes to create the most delicious food possible. At home, only meals taken from family recipes graced the table. We were never hungry after taking our fill of paksiw na tiil sing baboy, chorizo sa garapon, kabichado, humba, and almodigas. Paired with a magnificent sarsa nobody can match, it remains forever a treasured childhood memory. When the dishes were whisked away to make place for dessert, we forget the main courses we have just consumed in anticipation of the sweets to come. Leche flan, ibus, and her signature espasol would take the place of rice and meat on the table and would be wolfed down in an instant. The townsfolk of Pres. Roxas were also lucky to purchase the best vinegar the town has known, also carefully stored in clay jars.

To honor her memory and to continue the legacy of serving sumptuous food, we have chosen Tia Isyang as our brand name. Every product is a reminder of her skill in the kitchen, and as her descendants, a piece of our childhood we are blessed to share with our beloved customers.
