Whether you suffer from arthritis, sinusitis, menstrual cramps or other health issues, eating the right foods can help you feel better.

FOR COUGH

Avoid mucus-producing foods such as full-fat milk, cheese, chocolate, white bread, croissants, pastries, cakes and anything that contains white flour and milk.

Try to avoid caffeine because it can increase menstrual discomfort. Instead, opt for ginger tea to ease nausea and bloating. Camomile tea can also relieve tension and eliminate muscle spasm, reducing anxiety during menstruation.

Kailangan ng ating katawan ang 8 hanggang 10 basong tubig sa maghapon. Nililinis ng tubig ang mga dumi natin sa katawan. Makaiiwas tayo sa bato sa bato (kidney stones) at impeksiyon sa kidney. Nakababawas din ng pangangasim ng sikmura ang tubig.
Sa mga kababaihan, uminom ng sapat na tubig para hindi kumulubot ang iyong mukha. Panlaban sa wrinkles ang pag-inom ng tubig. Heto ang tamang paraan ng pag-inom ng tubig:

1. Uminom ng 1 basong tubig pagkagising sa umaga – Sa buong magdamag, siguradong hindi tayo nakainom kaya medyo kulang na tayo sa tubig sa umaga. Madilaw din ang ating ihi.

2. Uminom ng pakonti-konti sa maghapon – Ang tamang pag-inom ng tubig ay ang 3 hanggang 4 na lagok bawat kalahating oras. Malilinis ng tubig ang asido ng tiyan. Huwag naman uminom ng 2 basong tubig ng biglaan at baka mahirapan ang iyong puso.

3. Kahit hindi nauuhaw, uminom ng tubig. Ang mga may edad ay hindi gaanong nakararamdam ng uhaw, kaya painumin sila ng tubig.

4. Kapag nanunuyo ang iyong mata, lalamunan o ilong, uminon din ng tubig.

5. Turuan natin ang mga bata na uminom ng tubig. Para paglaki nila, sanay na sila.

6. Dahil sobrang init sa Pilipinas, kailangan natin uminom ng maraming tubig. Kapag kulang ka sa tubig, mahihirapan ang iyong utak na mag-isip.

7. Tubig lang ang pinaka-healthy sa lahat. Bawasan ang pag-inom ng kape, soft drinks at alak. Lalo ka lang mauuhaw sa mga iyan.

8. Kung ika’y may sakit, uminom ng mas maraming tubig. Makatutulong ito sa paglaban mo sa trangkaso, lagnat, ubo at sipon.

9. Sa mga buntis, kailangan mo ng maraming tubig. Lalo na sa mga nag-breast feed, uminom ng 12 baso sa isang araw, para dumami ang iyong gatas. Isipin na dalawa ang pinapakain mo.

Mga paalala lang: Huwag lalampas sa 16 baso ang iinumin sa isang araw. Sobra na iyan. Sa mga may altapresyon at sakit sa puso, magtanong muna sa inyong doktor bago uminom ng maraming tubig.

Huwag mabahala kung ihi kayo ng ihi. Isipin lang na nailalabas mo ang mga dumi sa iyong katawan. Sa katunayan, posibleng tubig lang ang sagot sa ilang karamdaman.
