Police Brigadier General Arnold E. TOP 5 MOST WANTED IN CENTRAL VISAYAS FALLS IN BOHOL MANHUNT

A high-profile fugitive listed among the Top 5 Regional Most Wanted Persons in Central Visayas was successfully arrested by operatives of Police Regional Office 7 (PRO7) on April 21, 2026, in a decisive law enforcement operation in Bohol.

The 52-year-old suspect, known by the alias “Junjun,” is facing multiple counts of sexual assault and statutory r**e. He was apprehended at approximately 7:26 PM in Purok 2, Barangay Del Carmen Weste, Balilihan, Bohol, following sustained intelligence monitoring and precision tracking conducted by the Balilihan Municipal Police Station (MPS), in coordination with the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) of the Bohol Police Provincial Office.

The arrest was carried out by virtue of standing Warrants of Arrest for two counts of Sexual Assault in relation to Section 5(B) of Republic Act 7610, and two counts of Statutory R**e by Sexual Assault, issued on April 16, 2026, by Acting Presiding Judge Samson Ariel Chiang Cayetuna of the Regional Trial Court, 7th Judicial Region, Branch 3, Tagbilaran City, Bohol. Bail was set at ₱200,000.00 for each count of Sexual Assault under RA 7610 and ₱120,000.00 for each count of Statutory R**e by Sexual Assault.

The accused is now under the custody of the Balilihan MPS and will be presented before the issuing court.

Mabilis na aksyon ng Alicia Municipal Police Station ang naging susi sa pagsagip sa buhay ng isang 22-anyos na lalaki na nagtangkang tumalon mula sa Ganano Bridge sa Brgy. San Antonio, Alicia, Isabela.

Ayon sa ulat, isang concerned citizen ang agad na humingi ng tulong sa PNP hotline matapos mapansin ang mapanganib na sitwasyon. Ilang minuto lang ay rumesponde na ang mga pulis at nagtungo sa lugar.

Sa pagdating ng mga awtoridad, naabutan nila ang binata na nasa delikadong kalagayan. Agad na nakipag-ugnayan ang Alicia MPS sa Bureau of Fire Protection at MDRRMO upang maisagawa ang mabilis na rescue response.

Sa maingat at mahinahong paglapit ng isang pulis na nakatalaga sa lugar, naagapan ang sitwasyon sa pamamagitan ng pakikipag-usap hanggang sa makumbinsi ang indibidwal na bumaba at sumama sa mga responder. Nailigtas ang kanyang buhay at agad siyang naasikaso para sa kaukulang pag-aaruga.

BATA SA OVERPASS, NASAGIP NG OFF-DUTY NA PULIS SA BAGUIO

Mabilis at walang pag-aalinlangang kumilos ang isang pulis sa Baguio City matapos masagip ang isang batang nasa delikadong sitwasyon sa isang overpass sa Harrison Road noong Abril 21, 2026.

Kinilala ang pulis na si Police Corporal Credence Jayzer A. Magno ng Traffic Enforcement Unit ng Baguio City Police Office. Kahit wala sa duty at naka-sibilyan, hindi siya nag-atubiling umaksyon nang mapansin ang bata na nasa alanganing posisyon.

Sa loob lamang ng ilang segundo, mabilis niyang hinila ang bata palayo sa panganib. Agad din siyang nakipag-ugnayan sa mga kasamahan sa pulisya upang matiyak ang kaligtasan ng bata at maihatid ito sa kinauukulan para sa kaukulang pag-aalaga. Kalaunan, ligtas ding naibalik ang bata sa kanyang pamilya.

Pinuri ni Chief, PNP, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. ang ipinakitang kabayanihan ng pulis.

PNP ARRESTS NATIONAL MOST WANTED WITH ₱135K REWARD IN R**E, CHILD ABUSE CASE

The Philippine National Police, under the command of PNP Chief Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., apprehended a 42-year-old male classified as a National Most Wanted Person with a corresponding monetary reward during a focused manhunt operation at about 9:40 AM on April 22, 2026, in Barangay Mapolopolo, Basista, Pangasinan, in connection with sexual offense-related cases.

The arrest was carried out by joint operatives from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Regional Field Unit 1, together with the City Intelligence Unit of Dagupan City Police Office and the Basista Municipal Police Station. Authorities implemented two existing warrants of arrest issued by the presiding judge of the Family Court, Branch 15, Dagupan City, dated April 5, 2022.

The accused is facing charges for statutory r**e with no bail recommended and acts of lasciviousness in relation to Section 5(b) of RA 7610 with bail set at ₱180,000.00.

Police authorities confirmed that the suspect is listed under the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s Most Wanted Persons with a ₱135,000.00 monetary reward, highlighting the significance of his capture. He is now under the custody of CIDG Pangasinan PFU/SATT2 in Dagupan City for documentation and appropriate legal disposition.

Sa gitna ng hamon ng pang-araw-araw na pamumuhay, muling naghatid ng pag-asa at malasakit ang kapulisan sa mga pamayanang Agta sa Cagayan sa pamamagitan ng tuloy-tuloy na gawaing pangkomunidad.

Sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni PNP Chief, PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., pinagtibay ang hangarin ng Philippine National Police na maging katuwang ng mamamayan lalo na sa oras ng pangangailangan.

Ipinamalas ng 2nd Cagayan PMFC ang kanilang malasakit sa isinagawang sabayang outreach activities noong ika-16 ng Abril 2026 sa iba’t ibang lugar sa lalawigan.

Pinangunahan ni PLT Charlie Cagayan, Platoon Leader ng 2nd MFP, ang pamamahagi ng tig-lilimang kilo ng bigas sa limang pamilyang Agta sa Brgy. Capissayan Sur, Gattaran.

Samantala, sa Sitio Caroronan, Brgy. Binalan, Aparri, nagkaloob naman ang 1st MFP sa pangunguna ni PLT Alejandro Romina, kasama ang isang barangay kagawad, ng bigas at grocery packs sa walong pamilyang Agta na apektado ng tumataas na gastusin sa pamumuhay.

Hindi rin nagpahuli ang 3rd MFP sa pamumuno ni PLT Ronald Battad na nag-abot ng tulong sa isang senior citizen sa Sitio Santiago, Brgy. San Pedro, Lasam. Kabilang sa kanilang ipinamahagi ang limang kilo ng bigas, sariwang gulay, at tulong pinansyal para sa gastusing medikal—isang konkretong patunay ng malasakit ng pulisya sa bawat indibidwal, lalo na sa mga higit na nangangailangan.

“Lubos po kaming nagpapasalamat sa ipinakitang kabutihang-loob ng mga kapulisan. Hindi lang po tulong materyal ang aming natanggap, kundi pati pag-asa at pakiramdam na hindi kami nag-iisa sa aming pinagdaraanan,” pahayag ng isa sa mga benepisyaryong Agta.

MULTI-REGION CRACKDOWN NETS ₱11.2M WORTH OF ILLEGAL DRUGS; 8 ARRESTED IN ONE-DAY OPS

The Philippine National Police (PNP) under the leadership of Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., recorded another series of successful anti-illegal drug operations across Metro Manila, Western Visayas, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao on April 22, 2026, resulting in the arrest of eight individuals and the seizure of illegal drugs with an estimated total value of PhP11,204,138.00.

In Quezon City, operatives from the District Drug Enforcement Unit and Police Station 10 conducted a buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of two suspects, both Filipino nationals aged 22 and 24. Authorities confiscated approximately 257.46 grams of suspected co***ne valued at around PhP1.36 million, along with the marked buy-bust money and other pieces of evidence. The suspects are now under the custody of investigators for proper disposition.

In Iloilo, a coordinated anti-illegal drug operation led by local police units and support elements resulted in the arrest of five individuals, including three adults and two minors, during a buy-bust operation in Estancia. Recovered from the suspects were around 447 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of PhP3.03 million, along with other non-drug evidence. All arrested persons and evidence are currently under police custody for documentation and case preparation.

Meanwhile, in Marawi City, law enforcement operatives led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, in coordination with the PNP and Armed Forces of the Philippines, arrested a 57-year-old Filipino identified through an alias. Confiscated from the operation were approximately 1,000 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of PhP6.8 million, along with buy-bust money and other evidence.

PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., emphasized that these sustained operations reflect the organization’s strong resolve against illegal drugs. “We are strengthening coordination across all units nationwide. Ang layunin natin ay hindi lamang mahuli ang mga sangkot, kundi maputol ang supply chain ng ilegal na droga,” he said.

These accomplishments align with the PNP Focused Agenda under Enhanced Managing Police Operations, strengthening coordination among operating units nationwide. The campaign also supports the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to further intensify the government’s anti-illegal drug efforts while upholding due process and respect for human rights.
