A Sweet Celebration: Sugbohol
Bohol Chocolate Farm extends its heartfelt gratitude to the organizers of the 5th Sandugo Tourism and Travel Expo for bringing together government leaders, tourism stakeholders, local enterprises, and communities in one meaningful celebration of collaboration and sustainable development.
We are especially inspired by the SugBohol Sisterhood Agreement, which strengthens the partnership between Bohol and Cebu and opens new opportunities for tourism, local enterprise, cultural exchange, and community development across Central Visayas.
It was also a great honor for our founder, Ms. Rose Amores-Hudson, to be selected to share her impressions on behalf of the participating exhibitors during the closing ceremony. In her message, she expressed her appreciation for the organizers’ support of local MSMEs and emphasized how platforms such as this expo help small businesses gain visibility, build partnerships, and contribute to local economic growth.
Throughout the event, Ms. Rose also took the opportunity to engage with government officials, tourism leaders, fellow exhibitors, and other stakeholders—strengthening connections and exploring new possibilities for collaboration in agriculture, tourism, and local enterprise.
We believe that tourism becomes more meaningful when it supports the people behind every destination—the farmers, producers, artisans, entrepreneurs, workers, and families whose livelihoods depend on a thriving and sustainable local economy.
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, supported our products, and learned more about the Bohol Chocolate Farm experience. May the SugBohol partnership continue to create more opportunities and bring our neighboring provinces even closer together.
From Bohol-grown cacao to meaningful partnerships, we look forward to continuing our journey from .
