TVI Updates: Month of November 2025, ISLA Farms TVI conducted a GAD Activity focusing on awareness, inclusivity, and creating a safe training environment.🎗♻️🌱♥️

Through this initiative, scholars and staff learned about their rights, gender sensitivity, and how to uphold respect and equality in workplace and training sites.

As part of our commitment to community development and Gender & Development(GAD) Advocacy, ISLA Farm TVI successfully conducted a series of meaningful initiatives:

March 25,2024 || Scholars have conducted land preparations for planting and transplanting tomatoes (kamatis) and pepper (atsal) seedlings.

✅ Registered in National Coconut Farmers Registry System (NCFRS) of the PCA

REQUIREMENTS:
✅ Photocopy of Birth Certificate & Marriage Contract (if married)
✅ Photocopy of Form 137/138/TOR
✅ 4 pcs. Passport-sized ID Pictures (white background with collar)
✅ 2 pcs. 1x1 ID Pictures (white background with collar)
✅ 1 copy of Valid ID with 3 specimen signatures

Our Batch 2 students have immersed themselves in the art of producing Organic Concoctions and Extracts.

Embracing the diverse range of organic concoctions, namely, the beneficial Indigenous Microorganisms (IMO), the natural Calcium Phosphate Micro Nutrients (CALPHOS), and the wonders of Natural Enzymes - Lactic Acid Bacteria Serum (LABS). By incorporating these into farming practices, it can stand out as a champion for soil health, pest management, and sustainable agriculture.

From sourcing organic materials to employing eco-friendly production methods, we are committed to sustainable practices for a healthier and vibrant planet.

On November 17, 2023, TESDA Davao Del Norte brought the Backyard Tilapia program at ISLA Farms, Samal Island, Philippines to life by dispersing Tilapia fingerlings in a special event.

The turnover ceremony witnessed the strategic collaboration between TESDA Davao Del Norte and ISLA Agri-Ventures, Inc. as Tilapia fingerlings were introduced to the thriving aquaculture initiative. Present during this event were Provincial Director Jasmin J. Neri, Ed.D (TESDA Davao Del Norte), Engr. Efren Ojeda (Center Administrator of City Training Center-IGACOS), PLTGen. Isidro S. Lapena, Ph.D (Ret.) (President of ISLA Agri-Ventures, Inc.), Jose Mari C. Nang (ISLA School Administrator), and Salvador O. Masumbid Jr. (ISLA Farm Supervisor).
