✔️ Origin: Champorado was inspired by the Mexican dish “Champurrado”, a chocolate-based porridge brought to the Philippines during the Galleon Trade in the 1600s.
✔️ Pinoy Twist: Instead of using corn masa like in Mexico, we used malagkit rice — kaya mas creamy at lutong bahay ang sarap! 🍚🍫
