My father’s side of the family hails from Iloilo, and we also have relatives in Bacolod. Every time we visit, aside from the iconic Bacolod Chicken Inasal, there’s always one dish that completes the trip - Kansi.

Back in my hometown in South Cotabato, we could only manage to make KBL (Kadyos, Baboy, Langka) Kansi? That was a whole different story.

The ingredients alone were a struggle to find! And now that I’ve relocated to Manila? Even Kadyos is nowhere to be found… let alone Batuan! LOL.

That’s why I’m beyond thankful for Mad Bombs. With just one drop of their magic, my cravings are instantly satisfied. No more long preparations, no more ingredient hunting- just drop the bomb, wait a bit, and there it is: the rich, tangy, comforting taste of authentic Bacolod Kansi.
