North Green Farmers Association initiated its drilling operations with the intention of establishing a reliable water source critical for the upcoming construction efforts on the site. To accomplish this, they enlisted the expertise of a skilled local water driller from the Municipality of San Mariano in Isabela. This strategic step aims to ensure that all necessary water provisions are in place, facilitating a smooth transition into the major construction activities that will follow. By prioritizing this essential resource, the association is laying a strong foundation for future agricultural projects in the region.

JULY 03, 2025

On Thursday, July 3, 2025, representatives from the Department of Agriculture - Regional Field Office 02 - RAED partnered with the Departmentof Agriculture from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of the Municipality of San Mariano for an important field visit to our project site located in Binatug, San Mariano, Isabela. Accompanying the visiting officials was our President, Stephen Prose Calamba Castañeda, who played a key role in guiding them through the site. The purpose of this visit was to undertake the Lay Out and Staking process for the MODIFIED INSPIRE Program, an initiative led by the Department of Agriculture aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity and sustainability in the region.

During the visit, team members conducted a thorough assessment of the site, marking specific boundaries and identifying key areas for project implementation. The close cooperation between the regional and local agricultural teams showcased their shared commitment to fostering agricultural development and strengthening support for local farmers in the community.

As a result of this thorough preparation and groundwork, we are pleased to report that the site is now fully ready for construction. The next steps will involve mobilizing resources and initiating the build-out of the MODIFIED INSPIRE Program, which promises to bring numerous benefits to the agricultural landscape of San Mariano and the surrounding areas.
