In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, salt, egg, milk or water, and oil until smooth.

Heat a non-stick pan over low to medium heat. Pour in a thin layer of batter and cook for about 1ā€“2 minutes per side. Set the wrappers aside and repeat until all the batter is used.

Heat oil in a pan. SautƩ the garlic and onion until fragrant.

Add the tofu and cook until lightly browned. Add the carrots, cabbage, and togue. Stir-fry until the vegetables are tender but still slightly crisp.

Add the oyster sauce and season with salt and pepper. Mix well, then set aside to cool slightly.

In a saucepan, combine the peanut butter, soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, and water.

Bring to a gentle simmer. Add the cornstarch mixture while stirring continuously.

Cook until the sauce becomes thick and smooth. Adjust the sweetness or saltiness to your taste.

Place one wrapper on a clean, flat surface.

Put a lettuce leaf in the center, then add a generous spoonful of the vegetable and tofu filling.

Fold the sides of the wrapper inward, then roll it tightly like a burrito. Place seam-side down.

Arrange the lumpia on a plate. Generously drizzle with the peanut-garlic sauce and sprinkle with crushed peanuts.
