Our story began with a simple promise to our daughter. 💛🎂
Back in 2021, in the middle of the pandemic, our firstborn daughter came into our lives.
A few months later, after her baptism, my husband and I had a simple idea:
"Why don't we learn how to bake a cake now, so when she turns one next year, we can make it ourselves?"
At that time, we had no plans of starting a business.
We simply wanted to make our daughter's first birthday extra special.
So I started learning, practicing, and improving—one cake at a time.
When our daughter celebrated her first birthday in 2022, we proudly made her birthday cake ourselves.
We shared a few photos with our family and friends, never expecting anything more than sharing a special family moment.
Then the messages started coming...
"Pwede ba umorder?"
That simple question changed our lives.
One order became another. One customer recommended us to someone else. What started as a cake made with love for our daughter slowly grew into Butterella.
Over the years, we continued learning, expanded from cakes to our New York-style cookies, and eventually took a leap of faith by introducing our products to local cafés.
Today, by God's grace, we're grateful that Butterella is trusted by seven local café partners.
We don't share this to brag.
We share it because we want to remind anyone who's chasing a dream that every big journey starts with a small beginning.
Looking back, we realized that Butterella wasn't born from a business plan.
It was born from two parents who simply wanted to make their daughter's first birthday a little more special.
Sometimes, God's greatest blessings come in ways we never expect.
To every home baker, small business owner, or dreamer—keep going. Keep learning. Keep believing.
You never know where one small step of faith can lead.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey. And above all, thank You, Lord, for writing a story far better than the one we had planned. 🙏💛
If our story inspired you today, we'd love for you to follow our journey here at Butterella.
We'll continue sharing not just our cakes and cookies, but also the lessons, challenges, and milestones behind building a home bakery business. If this story encouraged you, feel free to share it with someone who might need a little reminder to keep believing.
Let's continue inspiring one another, one story at a time. 🍪💛
