Sunday Thought: Why We’re Usually the Last to Leave

Almost every Sunday, we’re the last ones to leave the church.

The boys always ask, “Why are we always the last?” And we always give them the same answer: because church is more than a service, it’s a family. Before we go home, we help tidy up, greet people, share a few conversations, and enjoy the fellowship that makes Sundays so special.

We want our boys to grow up knowing that serving doesn’t end with the closing prayer. Sometimes, the greatest lessons are learned in the small acts of helping, waiting, and loving others.

So yes, we’re usually the last to leave and we’re grateful for every extra minute spent in God’s house. 💓
