Egg prices have increased in recent months due to a bird flu outbreak and inflation.

How much does a dozen of eggs cost near you?

Here’s the price example for a 10 pcs of free range brown egg in our area.

10 pcs = 175 pesos
1 pc = 17 pesos
30 pcs = 510 pesos

This prices can go more or less depending on the location.

I am sharing you this because there’s business opportunity in poultry farming. This is only a small percent of the business.

***Key Note***

For a better hatchrate ensure;

• Your male to female ratio of your flock is correct to increase the chances of fertility. 1 Cockerell for 7 to 10 hens.
• Your parent stock is well nourished.
• You store your eggs properly under acceptable temperatures.
• You only bring for hatching eggs which are between 4 to 6 days old.
• You transport your eggs well to avoid them developing cracks.
• You check the quality of your eggs in terms of size. Too small or big eggs will most not likely to hatch.
