Also customer, now that we have a physical store:
“Now that you have a physical store, you should open early.”

Us: Uuuuuugh… 😂

And honestly, we get it. ❤️

When people kept wishing for a physical store, we eventually decided to take the leap—not just because our customers asked for one, but because we also wanted Greenhouse to have a little space where the community could come, eat, sit, and enjoy good food together. 🌱☕🍽️

But here’s the funny part…

The very reason we’re still here and able to keep the doors open is largely because of your delivery orders through GrabFood. ❤️

If we were only looking at the numbers, a delivery-focused or cloud-kitchen setup would actually make more sense for us. It keeps expenses lower, and honestly, delivery orders are a huge part of what keeps our kitchen moving and Greenhouse going.

But we also love having a physical space. We love seeing people walk in, sit down, have a meal, grab a coffee, and make Greenhouse part of their day.

So for now, we’re finding the balance:

🌱 Dine-in: 12 PM–7 PM

🚗 Delivery & Takeout: 10 am to 9 pm

So yes, we hear you. 😂

And no, we’re not blaming anyone for asking us to open early. We’re actually grateful that people want to see more of Greenhouse.

We’re simply trying to grow in a way that keeps the business sustainable.

Thank you for every order, every dine-in visit, every takeout, and every kind word that encouraged us to build a physical space in the first place. ❤️

One day, maybe we’ll be opening bright and early.

When the World Feels Hopeless, There Is Still Hope

The world can feel exhausting.

Wars, uncertainty, rising costs, broken relationships, difficult work, personal struggles—and sometimes it feels like no matter how hard we try, we can't fix what is broken around us.

But Scripture points us beyond the troubles of today.

James 5:7–8 tells us to be patient like a farmer waiting for the precious harvest. We may not see the outcome yet, but we are called to remain faithful and establish our hearts.

And our hope is not simply that things will eventually get better.

OUR HOPE IS A PERSON WHO IN THE BEGINNING CREATED US WONDERFULLY.

Jesus Christ is coming again. Jesus is our only true Hope.

The One who came into this broken world will return—not in weakness, but in glory. The struggles of this present world will not have the final word.

So while we work, wait, struggle, build, serve, and live our ordinary days, let us remember that history is moving toward the return of Christ.

Take a breath. Be patient. Establish your heart. The Lord is coming.

A Little Reminder to Rest ☕

“On the seventh day God rested…” — Genesis 2:2–3

Rest isn’t always about doing nothing. Sometimes, it’s about recognizing that life is more than work, deadlines, and constantly being busy.

Even a café needs a day to pause. So do we.

Take a breath. Slow down. Enjoy the quiet moments. ☕🌿

Why We’re Not Ashamed of Running Out of Stock

We’re a restaurant. Or a café. Or somewhere in between. 😅

And yes, we sometimes run out of menu items.

And honestly? We’re not ashamed of it. Here’s why:

We’d rather sell out than overproduce food that ends up wasted.

We cook in batches, not mountains, so food stays fresh.

Some dishes simply sell faster than we expect.

We don’t want to keep cooking just to make the menu look “fully stocked.”

Running out means we’d rather have fresh food today than questionable leftovers tomorrow.

We’re a small, independent kitchen—not a factory with an endless warehouse.

And sometimes… you guys just really love a particular dish. 😂

So if your favorite is marked SOLD OUT, please don’t take it personally.
It probably means somebody got there before you did. 😅

We’ll restock when we can, cook what we can, and keep serving what’s fresh.

Because for us, quality > quantity. Always.
