"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us"
-Romans 5:8
Today, we see that love in its most powerful form. Jesus endured pain, rejection, and death on the cross not because He had to, but because He chose to. He chose us. He took the weight of our sins so we wouldn’t have to carry it forever. That moment wasn’t just history it was a personal act of love for each one of us.
As we commemorate Good Friday, we are called to do so with sincere hearts through quiet reflection, prayer, and genuine repentance. It is not just about observing a tradition, but about truly remembering His sacrifice and allowing it to transform us. By humbling ourselves, letting go of our sins, and drawing closer to God, we honor the love that was poured out for us on the cross.
