The intern students from Polytechnic University of the Philippines โ€“ Mulanay, currently undergoing training at Kenzo and Kloeโ€™s Nature Farm, had a valuable and educational farm visit at Ferrer Manalo Dairy Farm. The visit was also accompanied by the owner of the farm, Maโ€™am Kristine Marie Afable, who joined the interns in this meaningful learning experience.

During the visit, the interns were given the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities such as feeding the cows and observing the daily operations of a dairy farm. An insightful discussion was also conducted about how the farm started and how it eventually became a successful dairy enterprise through the dedication and hard work of Sir Reynante Ferrer.

The trainers of the farm were also introduced, and in a unique and engaging way, they introduced themselves using the Nihongo language of Japan, making the learning experience both educational and culturally interesting. The interns also learned about the daily milk production of the cows, including how many liters of milk are collected during each milking session and the specific milking schedule followed by the farm every day.

This visit provided the interns with deeper knowledge about dairy farming, livestock management, and farm sustainability, giving them practical insights that will guide them in their journey in agriculture. It was truly a meaningful experience that showed how hard work, proper farm management, and passion for agriculture can transform a farm into a successful and inspiring enterprise. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ„๐Ÿฅ›โœจ
