THEY CAME TO CELEBRATE CREATION. THEY LEFT AS GUARDIANS OF THE FOREST!

We were deeply delighted to welcome the wonderful members of Theresian Association - Cebu, who came together in the spirit of Saint Teresa of Ávila and Venerable Josefa Segovia to celebrate the beauty of God’s creation, deepen their understanding of ecological stewardship, and experience what it truly means to care for our common home.

It was a journey of discovery, learning, fellowship, faith, and meaningful action.

Our guests explored the principles and practices that guide Oikos Orchard and Farm in Upper Bae, Sibonga, Cebu: Regenerative Natural Farming; Espaliered Orcharding; Enhanced Miyawaki Pocket Forests; Syntropic Agroforestry; High-Density, High-Variety Farming; Biodiversity Conservation; Seed Saving and Conservation and more.

Our Theresian friends took part in planting and adopting Philippine native trees in one of Oikos Orchard & Farm’s Miyawaki Pocket Forests. They did not simply admire the forest. They became part of its continuing story.

The presentation of TREE ADOPTION CERTIFICATES commemorated their participation and their meaningful contribution to our growing conservation legacy. May the trees you planted grow strong and the forests you help nurture flourish. And may the seeds of ecological awareness planted in your hearts continue to inspire others.
