Celebrating Ilocos Norte’s Young Innovators!
The Adal ken Sirmatta Mentoring Program 2025 highlighted the creativity, courage, and determination of Ilocos Norte’s young entrepreneurs as it concluded this year’s Best EntrepreNEW Business Concept Competition. Guided by Governor Cecilia Araneta Marcos, the program provides a platform for innovators to showcase, refine, and bring their ideas to life.

In the Food Category, Grand Winner AsinRaniag by Virhills (Precious Jamorabon& Jhem Kharl Quinto Molina) wowed with premium flavored salts crafted from local sea salt and fresh herbs. Runner-Up Cherry Joy Discaya-Garma transformed the humble kangkong into a delicious Pickled Kangkong twist.
In the Non-Food Category, Marvin Xavier Nicolas Vea Vea’s Eco Farm SMARTGROW FRAME: TRANSFORMING SPACE INTO SMART AGRICULTURE. An A-Framed Movable Hydroponics took Grand Winner, offering a smart, space-efficient system for fresh produce. Runner-Up ASYN by Nikki Althea Pambid, Rhay Zhan Stephen Pugal, and Iyah Fatima Miguel impressed with their solar-powered, IoT-enabled salt-drying machine.
The Best Presenter award went to Amianan Spirit by Joshua David Agustin Manalo, recognized for a confident, engaging, and impactful presentation.
A distinguished panel of judges—Mr. Ramon Manotok (Office of the Governor), Ms. Chira Cacatian (Office of the Provincial Agriculture), Mr. Gerald Gabriel (Department of Science and Technology), Mr. Jonathan Laroza (Department of Trade and Industry), and Ms. Miriam Maramba (Alaska Milk Corporation)—recognized the concepts with the strongest innovation and impact.
