On the morning of March 29, 2026, the Lower Mapaoay Farmers Organization actively participated in a community clean-up drive as part of its commitment to environmental stewardship and public service.
The group was organized into two teams to efficiently carry out the activity. The girls, together with the school children, were assigned to collect candy wrappers, cellophanes, and bottles along the highway from Lower Mapaoay to Ipil. Meanwhile, the boys focused on clearing pathways and repairing a bamboo bridge commonly used by school children in their daily journey to and from school.
This initiative demonstrated the organization’s strong sense of unity, cooperation, and responsibility toward maintaining a clean and safe environment. It also highlighted their concern for the welfare of the community, particularly in ensuring safer access for school children.
The Lower Mapaoay Farmers Organization continues to uphold its role not only in agricultural development but also in promoting community involvement and environmental care.
