dba Vino de Coco was founded by George and Tila Paraliza. This couple shared a vision to create a legacy for their family. The name DJCRATER is composed of the first initial of their children’s given name (David, June, Christopher, Raquel, Alfonso, Timothy, Eduardo, Ruben). Paraliza retired from a successful career in engineering and hobby wine making from the United States. His dream was to somed

ay return to his homeland of the Philippines and apply his craft to develop the world’s finest quality coconut wine. He wants his product, Vino de Coco, to be enjoyed by wine consumers globally and to place the Philippines on the map of the wine industry. Since August 2010, this dream was put into action. Paraliza returned to his homeland and has been perfecting his method of producing “Vino de Coco” coconut wine. The production plant is located in Region 8, Tacloban City, Leyte. Currently, his staff is small and effective and he plans to increase the amount of jobs and opportunities and the company grows. Premium Tuba (Too’bah) is harvested by selected local farmers working in conjunction with the Philippine Coconut Authority’s guidelines of responsible farming. Strict controls on how raw tuba is received by DJCRATER are implemented to ensure the freshest quality from the start of the process. Every single step in the process is made with precision and care that only comes from a driven passion derived from a vision started by Mr. Currently, three varieties are offered by Vino de Coco: Dry Red, Sweet Red and Sweet White Coconut Wine. Through entries with International Trade Shows and his sons importing samples to various countries, Vino de Coco has shown a strong potential for a high demand across the board.
