From Campers to Changemakers: A night of Learning, Laughs, and Leadership
Barangay New Lagao, Tacurong City β August 14, 2026. β What happens when young people are given a microphone, a safe space, a few good mentors, and plenty of energy?
Leadership and Learning happens. And yes, there was a lot of laughter along the way. π
The BCPC Youth Development and Leadership Camp, a collaborative initiative of Barangay New Lagao and Barangay EJC Montilla, brought together young people for a meaningful day of learning, sharing, friendship, and discovering what it really means to be a leader and learn at the same time!
This was not your usual βsit down, listen, go homeβ kind of activity. The camp encouraged the youth to participate, speak their minds, ask questions, learn from others.
The activity was spearheaded by:

who shared their knowledge, experiences, and practical lessons with the participants.
The organizers likewise extend their sincere appreciation to the partners who helped make the activity possible:

Their support helped ensure that the young participants were not only learningβbut were also safe, supported.
The campers came with curiosity. They left with lessons, memories, new friends, and hopefully, a little more confidence to take the lead and grow.
So, congratulations to our young participants!
The camp is over. The learning continues. And the next generation of changemakers? Apparently, they're already here!
