Sustaining Life With Living Water: Our Duty to Each Other and the Environment 🌱

September 24 was a very special day for SVD Laudato Si’ Farm. As part of the celebration of the Season of Creation, Ms. Ina Alleco R. Silverio of WeGen Initiative, delivered a powerful talk where she shared valuable insights on the importance of water, sustainability, and our responsibility toward one another and the environment. Ms. Silverio was ably assisted by Ms. Flordeliza Almoete, also from WeGen Initiative.

Through relatable discussions and concrete examples, our guests and employees gained new knowledge and a deeper understanding of how simple actions can help protect and sustain our precious water and our shared home.

Together, let us continue learning, caring, and taking action for a more sustainable future.

EXODUS JOURNEY

What a meaningful and joyful journey it was! Last September 20, 2026, we welcomed many participants who came together for a day filled with prayer, music, dance, fellowship, and meaningful encounters with creation.

From praying and reflecting, to singing and dancing, our participants truly embraced the spirit of the Exodus Journey. They also experienced the heart of our Farm-to-Table concept—harvesting fresh produce, catching chicken and catfish, and preparing them as part of the meal.

It was more than just an activity; it was a journey of faith, community, and connection with the land—reminding us that creation is a gift we are called to care for, nurture, and share.

We thank everyone who joined us and made this journey memorable! May we continue walking together toward a deeper appreciation of Living Water and the gift of Creation.

SVD Farm proudly joined the Bulalo Cooking Show held yesterday at Ayala Malls Serin, Tagaytay, organized by the Tagaytay Tourism Office.

Bringing together eight participating restaurants, the competition showcased creativity, skill, and innovation in preparing one of Tagaytay’s most beloved dishes—Bulalo.

Representing SVD Farm was our Bulalo Caldo, a creative take on the classic dish conceptualized by our Executive Chef, Chef Jerson Sevilla, and prepared and presented by our talented chefs: Chef John Marc Muya, Chef John Hamdi Alegre, and Chef Mark Lester Pareja.

Beyond the competition, SVD Farm was also given the opportunity to showcase and sell our farm products during the event, allowing us to introduce our products to more visitors and supporters.

We are proud to share that the SVD Farm Team won the People’s Choice Award!

This recognition reflects the appreciation and support of the guests and visitors who enjoyed and voted for our Bulalo Caldo.

The team was also supported throughout the competition by our Executive Director and Chaplain, Fr. Jong Biton and Fr. Popo Perey, together with the rest of the SVD Farm Team.

We are grateful to the Tagaytay Tourism Office for the opportunity to participate and to everyone who supported SVD Farm. This experience allowed us to celebrate Filipino culinary creativity, promote our farm products, and share what SVD Farm has to offer.

ANNOUNCEMENT

The Chapel of the Virgin of the Poor at the SVD Laudato Si' Farm cordially invites all devotees and the lay faithful to the localized celebration of the 316th Fiesta of Our Lady of Peñafrancia, with the theme: "Inâ: Nurturing a Growing Church."

A replica of the Original Image of Our Lady will grace the Eucharistic Celebration on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 3pm.

After the Mass there will a veneration of the Image and the traditional "Pagmamanto", the blessing of individuals using an old vestment of the Venerable Image.

Your presence and prayers are warmly welcome.
