The Best Thing We Can Do for Our Children Isn’t What You Think...

Camping, just the two of us. 🏕️🤍

As much as we love creating memories with our children, we’ve learned that our marriage deserves intentional time too.

Before we became Mom and Dad, we were simply husband and wife. And one day, when our children have families of their own, it will be just the two of us again.

That’s why we choose to invest in our relationship now. We make time for simple dates, quiet moments, long walks, deep conversations, shared laughter, and yes—
We still flirt everyday. ❤️

A healthy marriage creates a healthier home. When our children see love, respect, grace, and joy between us, they learn what a Christ-centered marriage looks like. The love we nurture as husband and wife naturally overflows into the way we love and raise our family.

So every now and then, choose each other again. Go on that date. Watch the sunset. Camp under the stars. Have meaningful conversations. Pray together. Dream together. Laugh together. Never stop pursuing one another.

This is my eldest, 7 years old Lucas🤍

Every single day-- YES, EVERYDAY 😊-- he tells me, “Mommy, let’s bond later, ha?” And every single time, my heart melts.

To me, those simple words are proof that he feels loved, safe, and cared for. They remind me that he already understands the value of family time.

Whether it’s going on little adventures, watching TV together, or simply sharing snacks, he treasures every moment we spend as a family. He genuinely loves being with us, and that is one of the greatest blessings we could ever ask for as parents.

These little moments may seem ordinary, but I know they are becoming the memories he’ll carry with him as he grows.

My prayer is simple: Lord, please keep our family healthy and strong. May You allow us to continue making these precious memories together for as long as You will. ❤️
