The ALSA Dose South Cotabato Cluster Meeting was successfully conducted today, June 5, 2026, at Bischick Coconut Farm in Tampakan, South Cotabato, bringing together LSA cooperators to discuss important updates and opportunities. Among the key topics discussed was the Sagip Saka Act, which enables government agencies to directly procure agricultural products from LSA cooperators, providing farmers with a more accessible market and strengthening their livelihood opportunities.

The meeting also focused on FFEDIS registration, emphasizing its importance in maintaining updated records of Learning Sites for Agriculture. To accommodate interested cooperators, another schedule for FFEDIS registration was agreed upon to ensure wider participation and compliance.

Participants were likewise informed about the ongoing updating and collating of LSA information for inclusion in the ATI LSA website, which is nearing completion. This initiative aims to provide wider visibility for LSAs and make information about their farms, services, and learning opportunities more accessible to stakeholders and the public.

In addition, members were informed about the renewal of expired LSA Certifications, which requires the submission of a Certificate of Good Standing from ALSA Dose. This requirement highlights the value of active participation and cooperation among association members. ATI also reminded cooperators that they may request replacement tarpaulins should their existing ones become worn out or damaged.

The meeting served as a valuable venue for networking and collaboration among LSA cooperators. Participants actively shared experiences, raised concerns, and received appropriate guidance, making the activity both productive and enjoyable for everyone.
