Mayton Farm is just near Metro Manila, from Cubao it only takes 1 hr and 30 minutes depending on the traffic. It is a place where one can just leave the noise of Metro and disconnect with the digital world. The location is a dead spot for mobile and internet connectivity. The place is solar powered.
Mayton Farm is a place for seclusion, immersion, adventure and family bondings. This place lets you see a simple life in a Barrio, typical feel of provincial community, raw and humble. The people are warm and hospitable. We don’t offer a hotel type of service but rather we let you experience how to live in a simple setting far from the modern living of Metro Manila, we call it “ buhay sa bukid” or farm life.
Our farm main objective is to propagate Agriculture as well as Aquaculture combined with a little of tourism, an Agri tourism as they may call it. With these integrated farming, we expect to generate jobs for the local community, uplift their lives in a way and instill the value of hardwork. At present, we already planted additional calamansi seedlings, thai mango, longkong lanzones, avocado, sinegwelas, guaple, japanese orange, mandarin orange, davao pomelo, coconut, banana, guyabano, jack fruit and papaya. We also planted some vegetables such as talong, okra, corn, hot chili and pechay among others. For the aquaculture, we have king fish or red tilapia as well as fresh water prawn or ulang which we intend to breed and grow. During harvest or fruiting of the trees, guests can enjoy pick and pay activity.
For the tourism aspect, we offer kubo type of accomodation and food is on a pre-arrange basis only. We can also create itinerary such as trekking, fishing and river hopping/swimming on the nearby areas. We dare you to experience raw nature! What more, couple with kids/toddlers can enjoy nature with you because we also have a mini outdoor kid’s play area which boast a wooden kiddie house with swing.
