at 27, i experienced chasing the corporate ladder, having the time freedom of a freelancer/digital nomad life, and now the creative pursuit of building a café business

it's not the typical path i ever imagined doing in this lifetime

but it eventually led me back to my hospitality industry course

as a foodie, i now have the freedom to create something special and build a community along the way

it's been a few days since my post on threads went viral for some reason... and from that day on, we welcomed at least 10 people in our garage café...

all from threads

some says our cheesy lasagna was so good—they quickly asked for two more minis for takeout,

the others asked if we have it in bigger sizes and would live to order one for special occasions next time,

some of them mentioned they'll let their friends know about our café and will come back soon...

but you know what's even better hearing all those words from our first time visitors?

it's hearing the clank of the spoon from their last bite and the slurp of the last drop of iced drinks from an empty cup—now filled with the last pieces of iced cubes...

more than words,
i love seeing them enjoy our food,
fulfilling their hearts and stomachs,
as they linger a little longer with their friends

and loved ones :)
