Last night's DGroup was, as always, a time that filled our hearts and challenged us to take action.
It's easy to fill our calendars with work, responsibilities, hobbies, and endless distractions. We stay busy, yet sometimes neglect the very things that have eternal value. The greatest danger isn't always doing bad things; it's becoming so consumed with good things that we forget God's priorities.
Our conversation also led us to reflect on the areas where we've been hesitant to obey. We all have moments when God nudges us to take a step of faith, serve, forgive, share the gospel, or simply trust Him more deeply. Yet fear, comfort, or procrastination often holds us back.
As the days grow darker, the call for believers to live with purpose becomes even clearer. Every day is a gift from God and an opportunity to glorify Him. May we steward our time well, respond quickly to His leading, and invest our lives in what will last for eternity.
Lord, help us not to merely hear Your voice, but to obey it.
