Disappointed and tearful, she cried until her mother placed a single large candle in the center of the cake to comfort her. That simple gesture left a lasting impression on young Edith. From that moment on, she dreamed of
having not just a cake, but a beautiful one—perfect in both taste and presentation. Over time, that dream grew into a passion. What began as a personal wish eventually blossomed into a meaningful hobby. Years later, after getting married and with a desire to provide a better life for her family, Ms. Edith enrolled in baking classes to turn her passion into a profession. At the age of 25, in 1994, she officially opened her own cake business with a mission: to make high-quality, delicious cakes accessible and affordable for everyone celebrating birthdays and other special moments. Edron’s humble beginnings were rooted in the family’s home kitchen. But recognizing the need to reach more people, Ms. Edith rented a small space near the Taytay market. Thanks to word-of-mouth and loyal customers who loved the taste and value of her cakes, the business began to grow steadily. As demand increased, Edron’s relocated to larger and more welcoming spaces to accommodate its growing clientele and to provide a warm, comfortable experience for every customer who walked through the door.
