Mealtime Schedule for Sheep

1. Morning Feed (6:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• Breeding Sheep:
• Cooked corn (energy boost for breeding health).
• Fresh forage.
• Lambs:
• Milk (if unweaned) or starter pellets.
• Small portions of fresh hay.
• Fattening Sheep:
• High-energy feed like cooked corn mixed with grains.
2. Midday Feed (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
• Breeding Sheep:
• Additional forage or silage.
• Mineral blocks available for licking.
• Lambs:
• Small hay portions and clean water.
• Fattening Sheep:
• Protein-rich pellets or legumes.
3. Evening Feed (5:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
• Breeding Sheep:
• Light meal of fresh forage and water.
• Lambs:
• Final milk feeding (if unweaned) or hay mix.
• Fattening Sheep:
• Cooked corn with a bit of molasses for added energy.
