Thyroid Awareness Month is more than a celebration of knowledge. It is a reminder of how one small gland can greatly impact the body, the mind, and everyday life. The thyroid gland plays a vital role in regulating metabolism, energy, hormones, heart rate, temperature, and overall well-being. When it functions properly, the body thrives in balance. But when disorders arise, even the simplest daily tasks can become exhausting battles.
This month shines a light on the importance of understanding thyroid health, recognizing early symptoms, and encouraging proper diagnosis, treatment, and management of thyroid related conditions such as hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules, autoimmune thyroid diseases, and thyroid cancer.

Awareness can save lives, improve quality of life, and help many people feel seen and understood in their silent struggles. Beyond education, Thyroid Awareness Month is also about compassion and support for every thyroid warrior courageously fighting battles unseen by many. Behind the smiles are people enduring chronic fatigue, weight fluctuations, anxiety, insomnia, pain, hormonal imbalances, brain fog, emotional struggles, and countless invisible symptoms that can deeply affect their daily lives.

Their journey is often long, unpredictable, and exhausting, yet they continue to rise each day with strength and resilience. To every thyroid warrior, your fight is valid, your exhaustion is real, and your courage deserves recognition. May this month remind everyone to be more informed, more sensitive, and more supportive toward those living with thyroid disorders. Awareness creates understanding, and understanding creates hope. 💕

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the women who make every space feel like home. The mothers whose love is served quietly, through warm meals, gentle reminders, sleepless nights, and countless sacrifices no one else gets to see.

At L.A. Artsy Cafe, we believe that the most beautiful moments are often the simplest ones. Shared coffee, heartfelt conversations, laughter echoing across the table, and memories made in between ordinary days.

Today, we honor every mother who became comfort, strength, safe haven, and light for her family. May this day remind you that you are deeply appreciated, endlessly loved, and worthy of the same warmth, you freely give to others.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers and mother figures. May your hearts be as full as the love you pour into the world.💕

Aloha, everyone!
With hearts full of gratitude and joy, we warmly invite you to celebrate a beautiful milestone, Corazon’s 75th birthday party. Seventy-five years of love, strength, laughter, and stories worth honoring, and what better way to celebrate it than with a vibrant Hawaiian inspired gathering filled with music, dancing, and island spirit.

Join us as we surround her with the warmth of family, the presence of dear friends, and the kind of memories that will linger long after the day ends. Let’s make this celebration as colorful and meaningful as the life she continues to live.

There are days when I hold a cup of coffee a little longer than usual, not just for its warmth, but for the stillness it offers. Because living in a body that doesn’t always cooperate feels a lot like this brew...unpredictable, sometimes too strong, sometimes too bitter, and occasionally, surprisingly gentle.

I follow every step the way I’m supposed to. Measured. Careful. Intentional. Just like brewing, right temperature, right timing, the right balance. And yet, no matter how precise I am, there are days it still doesn’t come out the way I hoped.

That’s what living with this feels like. It’s waking up unsure of what kind of “blend” the day will bring. Will it be bearable? Or will it overwhelm me before I even take my first breath fully.

And just like coffee, the environment changes everything. The air, the water, the smallest shift, it alters the outcome. The same goes for people, for energy, for the spaces I step into. Some soothe me quietly…others leave a bitterness that lingers longer than it should.

But here’s the thing about coffee, it teaches patience without saying a word. You don’t rush it. You don’t force it. You learn to sit with it, even when it’s not perfect.

So I sit. I sip slowly on the days I can. I pause when it’s too much. I let the warmth remind me that even in the bitterness, there is something grounding, something real. And maybe that’s what I’m learning through all of this.

Not every day will taste the way I want it to. Not every moment will be easy to swallow. But I’m still here, holding my cup, learning the balance,
one quiet sip at a time. 💕☕

Some women were never meant to just survive, they were called to endure what no one else could see. To the women who fought silent wars behind closed doors, who carried pain in one hand and love in the other, who chose to rise every single day not because it was easy, but because someone needed them...this is your honor.

You are the kind of bravery the world rarely recognizes. The quiet, relentless, unyielding kind. The kind that doesn’t ask for applause, yet deserves a standing ovation. No title, no medal, no visible scar could ever measure the depth of what you have endured. Because your greatest battles were fought in silence, and still you chose to stay, to give, to love, and to continue.❤️🫡

I once believed that a meaningful life was measured by how much of myself I could give away. So I gave my time, my strength, my care, my heart, again and again...until one day my own body whispered the truth I had long ignored, even the soul that gives must also be cared for.

Illness humbled me in ways I never expected. It slowed the pace I once called normal. It forced me to listen to a body that had silently endured years of exhaustion and sacrifice. And in that stillness, I realized something profound. Life is not only about building a life for others. It is also about honoring the life within yourself.

This is my "second life". Not perfect. Not painless. Not easy. But conscious. A life where rest is no longer a weakness. Where boundaries are acts of self-respect. Where healing is not rushed, but gently allowed.

I may walk slower now. I may carry invisible battles. But I live with deeper awareness, of breath, of time, of purpose, of grace. And if this second life has taught me anything, it is this,
a life well lived is not measured by how much we sacrifice ourselves for others, but by how bravely we learn to care for the life we were given.

This time, I choose to live with intention. With faith. With hope. And with the quiet promise that I will no longer abandon myself in the process of loving others.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to hear my story, to pray for me, and to simply be there. Living with autoimmune diseases means accepting a future with many uncertainties. It means knowing that along the way, there may be more diagnosis, more adjustments, and more battles that only those living with chronic illness truly understand.

But this is the new me.
A year older.
Not broken, just bent.❤️🙏

14/02/2026

Real love is not loud. It does not beg for an audience. It does not measure itself in grand gestures, curated photos, or carefully chosen captions. It does not need applause to prove it exists. Real love happens in the unseen. It is in the quiet surrender of your own comfort so someone else can breathe easier. It is in the long nights no one thanks you for.

The prayers whispered when your heart is breaking. The silent choosing...again and again, of someone else’s well-being over your own desires. Love is not a transaction. It is not, “I gave this, so you owe me that.” It is not a balance sheet of effort versus reward. It is not status, nor wealth, nor how others perceive your life together.

Real love costs. It costs pride. It costs ego. It costs convenience. Sometimes it costs dreams that once revolved around you. There is love that requires you to step back so they can step forward. To shrink your spotlight so they can shine.

To sacrifice your own happiness so they can live the life they long for, even when that life no longer fully revolves around yours. That kind of love is unbearable at times. And yet, the one who truly values you will still choose you, even when choosing you is hard, even when loving you requires dying to self. Because real love is sacrificial. It is making yourself the least, and making them the priority.

It is staying when leaving would be easier. It is forgiving when your pride demands revenge.
It is serving without keeping a score. And often, it goes unrecognized. Unapplauded and unappreciated. People take it for granted.
Some are too consumed with themselves to notice the quiet sacrifices being made for them.

Some will only give exactly what they receive, as if love were a fair trade agreement. As if affection must be mirrored in equal portions to be justified. But love, real love, has never been about equality of exchange.

It has always been about depth of principle.
As Christians, we understand this differently.
Love is not just emotion. It is a conviction.
It is obedience. It is a moral calling written deep into the soul. It mirrors the kind of love that gave without guarantee, that sacrificed without applause, that endured without conditions. That kind of love is immeasurable.

No poem can contain it. No action can fully explain it. No words can accurately define it.
It is something the heart recognizes instantly,
yet so few truly live by. Real love is not proven when it is easy. It is revealed when it is costly.
And the most powerful loves in this world are often the ones no one ever sees.

So this Valentine’s Day, let it not be the only day we recognize, appreciate, and celebrate love.
Let it be a habit, to honor the quiet sacrifices, to acknowledge the hands that held us when we were difficult to love, to thank the hearts that chose us even when it was unbearable.

Life is too short to finally acknowledge people only when it is too late. Too short to assume they owe us their love. Too short to overlook actions that were nothing short of extraordinary. There are people in our lives who give more than they ever receive. Who stays consistent in effort.

Who hold firm to their principles. Who pour time, service, patience, and grace, just to show how deeply they truly love us. These people are rarely celebrated. Rarely understood. Rarely appreciated the way they deserve.

They are angels on earth, guiding, protecting, loving fiercely, because they know the pain of being unloved. Because they vowed that no one they love would ever feel that same emptiness.

Appreciate them while you still live with them.
While you can still hold their hands. While you can still say thank you. Because life is fragile.
And once time passes, we can never turn it back.
