Our Mt. Matutum coffee is grown through AGROFORESTRY. 🌱

But what does agroforestry actually mean?

It means coffee is grown together with trees and other plants—within a living ecosystem. 🌳🌿☕️

Unlike a conventional farm where one crop may dominate the whole area, agroforestry allows coffee to grow with nature, not by replacing it.

✨ Shade trees help create a cooler environment for coffee.
🌱 Different plants contribute to a more diverse ecosystem.
💧 Trees and vegetation help protect the soil and water.
🐦 Biodiversity has a place to thrive.
☕️ And coffee becomes part of the forest landscape.

And here’s the fun part…

Cute kaayo! At just 3 years old, with freckles on her cheeks, already helping out with the coffee harvest. 🤎
