and Deliverance from Storm

Almighty and ever-living God,
You are our refuge and strength,
our shelter in times of danger and distress.
Today, we humbly come before You
as storm Tino approaches our land.

Lord, calm the winds that rage and the waters that rise.
Stretch out Your mighty hand to protect Your people,
our homes, our fields, our seas and our communities.
Let Your mercy stand as a wall between us and the storm.

We remember, O Lord, that even the winds and the waves obey You.
You who silenced the storm on the Sea of Galilee, speak now to the heart of this tempest:
“Peace, be still.”

Deliver us from fear and despair.
Strengthen our faith that we may trust in Your providence and power.
Protect especially the poor, the sick and the vulnerable—those who have no one else to shield them but You.

Holy Mary, Star of the Sea,
wrap your mantle of protection over us.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.

All the saints of God, intercede for us before the throne of grace.

Father, we place our trust in Your hands. Let this storm pass without harm, that we may rise again to praise You for Your goodness and deliverance.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
