Church, let us walk together in one spirit and one love, serving one another with the humility of Christ, confident that God is faithfully working in us and through us for His good purpose.

To my brothers and sisters in Christ,

One of the hardest things to do as believers is to correct someone who has fallen into sin or made a mistake. And honestly, it’s also one of the easiest things to do the wrong way.

Galatians 6:1 gives us clear guidance:

"If someone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted."

That verse reminds us that correction was never meant to be harsh or humiliating. God’s intention is always restoration.

When we point something out in someone’s life, it shouldn’t come from pride or frustration, but from love. The goal is not to embarrass them or prove a point. It’s to help bring them back to the Lord.

And we have to be careful with our own hearts too. Scripture says, "watch yourself." It’s a reminder that none of us are immune to temptation. The same grace we want for others is the same grace we depend on.

So if we ever need to correct someone, may we do it gently. May we speak truth with compassion. And may we always remember that we are not above anyone. We are simply people who have been shown mercy, called to show mercy as well.

Let’s be the kind of Christians who restore, not destroy.

With sincerity and love,
A fellow follower of Jesus

REAL FRIENDS

"Mark 2:3-5"

There were those who arrived carrying their friend who could not walk. Nowhere to get in where Jesus was, it was so crowded. So they climbed up on the roof, dug a hole in it, and lowered down their friend on his mat into the middle of the room where Jesus was.

It was bold. Risky. Kind of wild, honestly. But they were determined. They were not going to leave until they brought their friend to Jesus, no matter how awkward or inconvenient it seemed.

When Jesus saw what they had done and how much faith they had he looked at the man and said, “My friend, your sins are forgiven.”

Church service looked a little different last Sunday.

At SunRidge, we were reminded that the Church was never meant to be confined. We shared food, stories, prayers, and moments of wonder: kites in the sky and gratitude in our hearts. Just people, creation, and the goodness of God.
