The Gakit Festival 2026 is proudly organized by the City Government of Valencia under the leadership of City Mayor Amie Galario, City Vice Mayor Greizl Galario-Fernandez, and the members of the 10th Sangguniang Panlungsod.

Presented by the City Events Committee in partnership with the Valencia City Youth Development Office, Valencia City Bukidnon Historical and Cultural Society, Office of the IP Mandatory Representative led by Bae Irene Pandian, and the Committee on Tourism, Arts & Culture Office of Councilor Cecile Mabao-Caballero, this year’s festival carries the inspiring theme, “Pulangui Atong Garbo, Kinaiyahan Atong Bahandi.”

The festival will be held from July 8 to 10, 2026, at the Riverside Boulevard in Barangay Batangan, Valencia City, Bukidnon. Throughout the three-day celebration, festivalgoers can enjoy cultural performances, exciting river-based competitions and activities, live musical entertainment, exhibits, and other attractions that highlight the rich history, culture, and unity of the people of Valencia City.
