Date: August 30, 2025/Saturday
Time: 6:30AM-5:00PM

Affected Areas: Entire province of Catanduanes (except Palumbanes Island)

Please be informed that a scheduled power interruption will be implemented on the above date and time to facilitate the energization of National Power Corporation’s new 20MVA power transformer at Marinawa Substation:

TRANSFER OF SUWECO MARINAWA DIESEL POWER PLANT (MDPP) TIE-LINE, BALONGBONG HYDRO POWER PLANT (BHPP) TIE-LINE AND FEEDER TAKE-OFF TO NEW 20MVA SUBSTATION
1. Stringing of MDPP 1 & 2 Tie-Line going to Marinawa Substation
2. Transfer of Feeder 5A & 5B tapping to MDPP 2 Tie-Line
3. Transfer of BHPP Tie-Line to 20MVA Marinawa Substation
4. Transfer of Feeder 4 Recloser from old Marinawa Switchyard to new Feeder 4 distribution line
5. Transfer of Feeder 5B feeder metering 20MVA Marinawa Substation MDPP 1 Take-off
6. Installation of Feeder Metering at 20MVA Marinawa Substation MDPP 2 Take-off
7. Transfer of common distribution transformer from old NPC Switchyard

TRANSFER OF SUWECO SOLONG HYDRO & EPSA DIESEL POWER PLANT AND FEEDER 2 TAPPING TO FEEDER 3A SAN MIGUEL
1. Transfer of Balongbong Recloser to San Miguel Poblacion
2. Disconnection of Feeder 1 Marinawa-BHPP Tie Line Looping
3. Transfer of Balongbong Feeder 2 looping from Feeder 1 to Feeder 3 Tie-Line
4. Transfer of Feeder 3 Tie-Line (with Feeder 2 connection) to Feeder 3A (closing of Boton cut-out)

Power may be restored sooner or later than scheduled depending on the actual site situation. Please consider our lines always energized for precautionary measure. Thank you.

NOTICE OF POWER INTERRUPTION

Date: Sunday, July 13, 2025

Time: 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Affected Areas: Entire province of Catanduanes (except Palumbanes Island)

Please be informed that a scheduled power interruption will be implemented on the above date and time to facilitate the continuation of line construction works in preparation for the energization of the National Power Corporation (NPC) 20MVA Substation, as well as various line maintenance and system improvement activities.

1. Stringing of line for two new circuits and installation of disconnect switches at new feeder take-off at Marinawa Substation
2. Interconnection of recloser jumpers (looping) for Feeders 5A and 5B
3. Replacement of disconnect switches to correct hotspot at Feeder 3 Tie-Line lateral going to SUWECO Solong Power Plants
4. Installation of line faults indicators at various distribution line locations
5. Right-of-way clearing activities
