As Farm Manager, one of our goals is to establish a sustainable and reliable forage area that will support the nutritional needs of our livestock for the long term. ๐ฑ๐
Today marks another important step in that journey as we continue the planting of Indigofera, spreading of Mulato II grass seeds through direct seeding, and land preparation across the farm. These activities are part of our ongoing forage development project aimed at producing high-quality feed while reducing dependence on commercial feeds in the future. ๐
Indigofera is a valuable high-protein forage ideal for goats and sheep, while Mulato II grass is known for its excellent growth, palatability, and productivity. With proper land preparation, moisture management, and continuous care, we are hopeful that these forage crops will soon provide a stable and nutritious feed source for our animals. ๐พ๐๐
Every prepared soil, every planted seed, and every day of hard work reflects our commitment to improving farm sustainability and productivity. Farming is a continuous learning process that requires patience, dedication, and consistency โ and we are grateful to witness the progress little by little. ๐
We look forward to seeing this area transform into a productive grazing and forage zone in the coming months. Thank you to everyone supporting our vision and journey here at Buenas Sywerte Farm! โค๏ธ
