"To train, develop and utilize the Citizen Armed Forces of the Philippine Air Force within Western Mindanao Area"

| Campus Peace and Development Forum

LOOK! The 6th Air Reserve Center (6th ARCen), in coordination with Mr. Esmer A. Falcasantos, CAT Commandant, successfully conducted the Campus Peace and Development Forum (CPDF) for the 4th Year High School students of Claret School of Zamboanga City.

Held on 16 April 2026 at Claret School, Ruste Drive, San Jose Cawa-Cawa, Zamboanga City, the activity aimed to raise awareness among the youth on the importance of peace, security, and nation-building. The forum provided valuable insights on maintaining harmony within the community and emphasized the vital role of young individuals in promoting peace and development.

The 6th ARCen remains committed to empowering the youth through education and engagement, fostering a generation that is responsible, disciplined, and proactive in nation-building.

๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐—ข๐—ž! The 6th Air Reserve Center (6th ARCen), together with the Cadet Officers (ROTC) of Dipolog City Institute of Technology, once again demonstrated excellence as they proudly rendered the Entrance and Exit of Colors during the 38th Commencement Exercises held at the Zamboanga del Norte Convention Center, Estaka, Dipolog City.

With sharp precision, discipline, and coordinated movements, the cadets delivered a performance worthy of recognitionโ€”truly embodying the spirit of service, honor, and patriotism.

Their participation highlights the effectiveness of the ROTC program in developing leadership, confidence, and a strong sense of national pride among the youth. Guided by dedicated mentors and strengthened through teamwork, these cadets continue to uphold the core values of integrity, commitment, and responsibility.

As graduates celebrate a significant milestone in their academic journey, the presence of ROTC cadets added pride and deeper meaning to the occasion.

Congratulations to all graduates, and a well-deserved salute to the cadets and personnel for their outstanding performance and unwavering dedication to duty.

The 6th Air Reserve Center (6th ARCen), through the Tactical Operations Squadron (Reserve) โ€“ Basilan (TOSR-Basilan), proudly participated in and provided security augmentation during the Opening Ceremony of the Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Athletic Association (ZPRAA) 2026 held in Isabela City, Basilan on 06 April 2026.

Anchored on the theme, โ€œChampioning Unity and Peace Through Sports,โ€ the event gathered student-athletes, officials, and stakeholders from across the region in a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and regional pride.

The presence of our dedicated reservists ensured the safety and security of all participants, highlighting the steadfast commitment of the Philippine Air Force Reserve in supporting community engagements and promoting peace and order.

This initiative underscores the continuing efforts of 6th ARCen in strengthening civil-military relations and contributing to the success of significant regional undertakings.

IN PHOTOS: The 6th Air Reserve Center (6th ARCen) conducted a stakeholder engagement with Sgt Kae Frea T Lao PAF (Res), Owner of I Can Therapy Center, to plan the conduct of a PAFCIT activity aimed at strengthening community relations through civic action programs such as livelihood support, feeding, and medical missions, in coordination with partner stakeholders.

The engagement also aimed to establish partnership and collaboration to effectively deliver community-based services and assistance to identified beneficiaries. The activity was conducted on 11โ€“12 April 2026.

OPERATIONAL FIELD VISIT OF THE COMMANDER, AIR FORCE RESERVE COMMAND ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญโœˆ๏ธ

The men and women of the 6th Air Reserve Center (6th ARCen) proudly welcomed MGEN RONIE D PETINGLAY PAF, Commander, Air Force Reserve Command, during his first operational field visit to Headquarters 6th ARCen, Edwin Andrews Air Base (EAAB), Zamboanga City, on 11โ€“12 April 2026.

The visit aimed to strengthen command guidance, and directly engage the reservists of the Tactical Operations Wing (Reserve) - Western Mindanao, 530th Air Base Group Reserve, and the officers and enlisted personnel of 6th Air Reserve Center.

Activities included Arrival Honors, a courtesy call with the EAAB Council of Commanders led by MGEN ROMAN M DIOSO PAF, and a tree-planting activity at the New Generals Tree Farm.

A key highlight was the โ€œTalk to Reservists,โ€ where the Commander emphasized the critical role of reservists as ready and dependable contributors to mission success. He underscored the importance of continuous training, discipline, and commitment, while reinforcing a deeper sense of purpose.

The visit also featured the blessing of the newly renovated Headquarters 6th ARCen Building, marking a milestone in enhancing facilities for operational readiness and personnel welfare. The activity concluded with the Unit Briefing and Command Dissemination by the AFRC Staff.

LOOK! On 10 April 2026, The 6th Air Reserve Center (6th ARCEN), in partnership with the Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Police Office and in coordination with Dipolog City Institute of Technology, successfully conducted the Campus Peace and Development Forum (CPDF) for NSTP students at Dicayas Covered Court, Brgy. Dicayas, Dipolog City.

The forum emphasized the vital role of youth in nation-building, peacekeeping, and community development. Through meaningful discussions, students were inspired to become responsible citizens who uphold peace, unity, and the rule of law.

This activity also strengthened collaboration between the Philippine Air Force Reserve and the academic sector, promoting peace education, civic awareness, and community resilience. The active participation of students reflects their commitment to being advocates of peace and positive change.

On 03 April 2026, the 6th Air Reserve Center, in coordination with the Tactical Operations Squadron Reserveโ€“ Basilan(TOSR-Basilan), actively participated in the Lenten Season 2026 celebration by providing security augmentation during the solemn procession at Sta. Isabel Cathedral, Isabela City, Basilan.

Demonstrating unwavering commitment to duty, discipline, and community partnership, PAF Reservists ensured the safety and orderly conduct of the religious activity attended by members of the Catholic community. Their presence underscores the vital role of reservistsโ€”not only in national defense but also in promoting peace, order, and public safety during significant events.

The 6th Air Reserve Center, together with Tactical Operations Wing Reserve West Mindanao (TOWR-WEST MIN), 530th Air Base Group Reserve (530th ABGR), and other PAF/AFP unit agencies in Zamboanga City, proudly participated in the annual celebration of the 84th Araw ng Kagitingan Commemoration and Lakad-Kalayaan 2026.

Spearheaded by the Local Government Unit of Zamboanga, the activity was held on 09 April 2026 at Rizal Park and the Freedom Fighters Memorial Shrine Plaza along Rizal Street, Zamboanga City.

This meaningful commemoration paid tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering patriotism of our Filipino heroes who fought for our freedom. More than a remembrance, it serves as a call for todayโ€™s generation of Airmen and citizens to embody the same spirit of heroism, unity, and dedication in service to the nation.

Guiwan, Zamboanga City, fostering coordination, collaboration, and mutual understanding in support of our shared mission to serve the people.
