"To train, develop and utilize the Citizen Armed Forces of the Philippine Air Force within Western Mindanao Area"

We actively recruit and train interested individuals, groups or companies who want to be part of the Air Force Reserve Command. Be a part of something much bigger! We are always in need of spirited people ready to serve the nation.

THE WORLD IS WATCHINGโ€”AND STANDING WITH THE RULE OF LAW.
Ten years after the landmark 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award, the Philippines and 13 like-minded nations have once again affirmed a simple truth: the ruling is final and legally binding.

This is more than a legal document. It protects the rights of Filipino fishermen, safeguards our maritime resources, and reinforces the principle that international lawโ€”not coercion or intimidationโ€”should guide the seas.

The 2016 Arbitral Award remains a victory for justice, not just for the Philippines, but for every nation that believes disputes should be resolved peacefully and lawfully.
As we commemorate its 10th anniversary, let us remember: our sovereignty is not measured by the size of a nation's fleet, but by the strength of the law and the resolve of the Filipino people.

The July 12, 2016 Arbitral Award affirmed that the Philippines can defend its maritime rights peacefully, through United Nation Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), evidence, and principled action. It protects coastal communities, livelihoods, and one of the worldโ€™s richest marine environments, reminding us that sovereignty is also about food security and future opportunities for every Filipino family. Ten years on, its message is clear: principles matter, lawful action matters, and a rulesโ€‘based order benefits all nations.

The AFP Reserve Force stands united with the nation in commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Arbitral Award, honoring a legacy of law, peace, and maritime rights. We remain steadfast in our commitment to working with the regular force and defending our maritime heritage for future generations.
