Overcast sky, Green pasture, and healthy sheeps, nothing can b more satisfying thing than this for a sheep farmer.
Natural grazing is the foundation of a profitable sheep farm. Fresh forage lowers feed costs, improves animal health, enhances fertility, and supports steady weight gain. Every hour spent grazing is an investment in stronger animals and a more sustainable future.

Started procurement of 2nd batch (50 Damani breeding females) on 26 March, 2026 for expansion of Sheep breeding setup.
But buying 50 animals at once is not adviseable or possible so we decided to collect animal from multiple mandiz and retain then there at DI khan area. At first we could buy only 18 aninal from DI khan mandi and sadly out them 01 died due to illness after 2 days. Then again we bought 2+9 animals from paroa mandi. At last we bought 22 animals from DI khan mandi on 03 April, 2026. There are not many options to buy damani sheep other than DI khan mandi.
I was unable to visit market for purchase of animals, therefore, i asked Mr Baqir Malik of darya khan (youtuber) to help me in this regard and he executed it to the utmost satisfaction. It was not merely youtube friendship, but, we did the 1st batch procurement together. Due to this interaction i took risk and he proved that good people are still there. Specifically his efforts regarding recovery of 1st 18 animals' lot, which got sick just after a day of purchasing.
Finally on 3rd April, 2026 the new induction (2nd batch of 50 breeding females) reached at farm. Initially these animals will be kept at a separate temporary place for atlease a week and then they will join their predecessors inshaa Allah 😊

Inducted first batch of 24 female breeding and 1 male breeder sheep on 26 sept, 2026. During these 6 months, the experience came out to be very much encouraging. 13 female kidded normally in harah winter months with zero mortality (Mashaa Allah). During this time frame, we experienced good immunity / hardiness, excellent mothering instinct and good grazing temperament with extremely low maintenance cost in regard to Damani sheep breed.
The first generation of our breeding setup encouragd us to move further and add and other batch of breeding animals for scalling up flock to econimical numbers, keeping in view the labour costs.

Standing close to its mother, this little one reflects both vulnerability and quiet strength perfect symbol of the calm and hardy nature for which the Damani sheep breed is most suitable for small as well as commercial scale farmers.

Humility while grazing is the strength of this specie, specifically this breed.

1st day at farm, after taking bath, sheeps are grazing underneath mandarin (kinnow) trees, after long and tiring journey from D.I.Khan mandi to the AAS (aliahmedsons) Farm. All the animals are nibbling on orchard grass and giving a sigh of relief that they all are in good health.
