How it all started...
Living in Pakistan, it is common knowledge that the fresh milk delivered to our homes through milkmen has added water in it. However, in the past few years many reports have emerged that claim that there may be more dangerous elements in milk than just the water. Wanting to ensure that we & our families drank healthy & nutritious milk, we started investigating these claims.
We got in touch with various private & public sector labs & took samples from different sources. To our surprise we found that 80% of the times other than added water, adulterants like soap, acid, starch, urea, table sugar and even chemicals like formalin were a common occurrence in not only the fresh milk but even the packaged milk. Most of the chemicals being used as adulterants were poisonous and could cause serious health hazards. The more we dug, the more of a mission it became for us to fight this corruption. As a result, we NUSTians left our corporate jobs & decided to launch a purity movement - namely Khaalis & Khaas Pvt Ltd. Milkhaas is the first product that we have launched under our brand name. Delivery of fresh & tested milk daily at your doorstep. b. 20+ nutrient contents & adulterants presence tests conducted daily. Antibiotic tests conducted twice weekly.
