For chapli kababs that are flavourful - and never dry! - uses Shan’s Chapli Kabab masala. Our blend includes every spice you need to get these kababs tasting perfect, including wheat flour, dried mango powder, cinnamon, Himalayan Pink Salt, and bay leaves.

Chappal Kabab
Ingredients:
1kg beef mince (70% meat 30% fat)
2 finely chopped onions
2 finely chopped tomatoes
1 bunch chopped coriander
Handful of chopped green chillies
Garlic paste 2-3 tbsp
Shan Chapli Kabab Masala
2 eggs
3-4 tbsp makkai ka atta (if water from onions was not removed)

Instructions:
Mix all the ingredients and knead well. Set aside and let the mix marinate for 30 minutes.
Make thin flat patties with wet hands and place a slice of tomato on one side. Shallow fry until crisp brown on both sides.

Lakshmi Chowk ki special takatak inspired Chef to make this Eid dish! Some people call Lahmacun ‘Turkish pizza’, but we call this version, spiced with our Kat A Kat Masala “Where Have You Been All My Life” pizza. Would you try it?

Katakat Lahmacun
Ingredients:
1 small onion 
150g liver 
150g fatty mutton keema 
1/2 tsp each Shan Ginger Paste and Garlic Paste
2 tsp tomato paste 
2 tbsp Shan Kat a Kat Masala
1 small bunch of cilantro 
3-4 green chillies 
2 portions naan or pizza dough 
For the sauce:
2 tbsp yoghurt
1 tbsp tahini 
1/4 tsp garlic 
Salt to taste 

Instructions:
In a food processor, grind down the onion first then add the meat, liver, coriander, pastes, and the masala. Grind to a smooth paste. 
Preheat the oven and an oven tray on your oven’s maximum heat. Roll out dough into thin sheets, in any shape you like. Remove the hot tray from the oven and place the dough base on it. Then spread the meat mixture, top with sesame seeds and green chilli. 
Bake until it’s crispy on the bottom and brown on the edges - approx 15 mins. 
Mix the sauce components together and taste till it’s just right. Remove the bread from the oven and garnish with coriander as well as the sauce.
