*Muhammad Azeem* is *Head of Hatcheries Fiskatech* and a postgraduate in zoology with research experience in fisheries and aquaculture. Under his supervision, *the second biggest hatchery* of Pakistan was established in *Feb, 2018 in Muzaffargarh* He started with the name of Chenab Fish of Hatchery which is now merged with FiskaTech in order to provide high quality of fish seeds.
His interest and dedication is home-grown under the guidance of his father who is a retired Assistant Director in Fisheries with an experience over 30 years in fish breeding. He also did internship in Pakistan’s first Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS). He got hands-on experience in Pangasius and Catfish breeding from AIT, Thailand.
At Chenab Fish Hatchery, they are committed to provide high quality seeds of *carps*, *mono s*x tilapia* and now *pangasius*. He is also keenly involved with other stakeholders like *UVAS, PU, BZU, GCU* and other government and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to make any advancement benefiting the field of fisheries and country’s economy. He also got to work with American Soybean.

*Mr. Saad Yousaf* is the Head of Business at *Fiskatech, a rapidly growing aquaculture company*.

Despite being a graduate in Software Engineering, he was always drawn towards the Aquaculture industry. Then he decided to pursue his dreams and set his foot in the industry by introducing successful *Biofloc Fish Farming* technique for the first time in Pakistan.
The project initially commenced on a small scale, with a production of 10 to 12 tonnes. This pilot project grew into a grand project when he started working in confederation with a big, renowned group of Pakistan, Punjab Group. He began working under *Punjab Agri Farm*, and in a short span of time, his devotion and dedication made his work so notable that the investors were compelled to help him establish a separate fish company, *Fiskatech*
He now has hands-on experience in grow-out farming.
Being the pioneer of Biofloc in Pakistan, he has also assisted in the installation of Biofloc setups for those who are interested and is guiding them through every phase of the process. He also holds a *certificate of international training in Pangasius and Cat-fish breeding from AIT, Thailand*. He is an important part of the hatchery for the production of Tilapia and Pangasius, as well as the production of *Pangasius processed fillets*.
He is a young man who is driven by a strong desire to see this industry succeed.

Birds of prey on open ponds help you by catching sickly/dead fish and prevent infections from spreading. Birds are not able to catch healthy fish very easily. You should definitely not harm these birds. A lot of birds on your farm indicate that a lot of fish are dying enabling you to apply corrective measures before it’s too late.

Stocking Pangasius in ponds for overwintering.

These fish will be put into grow-out ponds in February next year. They will be 4-5 inches by then.
