21 years ago, V-One started with $6,000 and a dream in the basement of my home in Hadley, Massachusetts.

Today, we own our farm-to-glass distillery in Kamień, Poland and our vodka has won over 40 international awards.

But none of this happens without you.

Everyone who supported V-One, shared our story, visited us, or believed in this crazy dream—thank you.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Allan Zuckowski.

Allan held a very special place here at V-One. He was the first Massachusetts farmer to grow organic spelt grain for us, and along the way, he taught us so much about farming, heritage grains, and the importance of respecting the land and where our ingredients come from.

More importantly, Allan was simply a wonderful man — a true gentleman, incredibly giving, intelligent, kind, and a man of deep faith.

We always called Allan our “gentleman farmer,” and there truly could not have been a more fitting description.

Allan, we were honored and grateful to have you as part of the V-One family and our journey. Your friendship, knowledge, generosity, and character left a lasting impression on all of us.

You will be greatly missed.
