It was very interesting time with Krystyna Lubanski workshop, great meetings and talks with many other great Artists during 29th ECWS European Watercolour Exhibition & Symposium in Gdansk! And today is the vernissage day 👏

When Artista inspire us...beautiful things happen ✨️ Thanks to Krystyna Lubanski, a wonderful watercolor artist we’ve created something we’re particularly excited about - a new sketchbook with Caritiera Magnani Italian 300 gsm 50% cotton paper.
Giving it the strength, softness, and beautiful surface that watercolor artists can love, it takes water beautifully while still feeling wonderfully tactile. And it's a leporello 📖 The pages unfold like concertino book, giving you one long, continuous surface to work on. Perfect for panoramic sketches, travel stories, a sequence of paintings…or simply for those moments when one page is definitely not enough! 😆
We also chose a much-requested square format 24x24 cm, compact enough to take anywhere, and it is hand-bound, because beautiful paper deserves a beautiful home. ❤️ Thank you Krystyna Lubanski for helping us turn an idea into something we can actually hold in our hands!

Mexico with Pinceles y Más and Rios de Color - Rivers of Color is coming 💚🤍❤️!

I'm absolutely thrilled to announce that I'll perform a master demo during 3rd edition of the Rios de Color - Rivers of Color watercolor festival in Mexico City!

I'll be using a selection of my favorite Renesans watercolors and "Italia" paper by Magnani 1404!

"Taxidermia – Kálmán Balatonyi Ciało ciężkie, nabrzmiałe, pozbawione harmonii i kontroli – opowiada o skrajnej, destrukcyjnej konsumpcji. Nieustanna pogoń za wygodą i obfitością w konsekwencji pozbawiła nas tożsamości, prowadząc do stagnacji. Kalman Balatonyi to mężczyzna wychowany w realiach komunizmu. Jego „zawodem” było sportowe jedzenie – pochłaniał ogromne ilości jedzenia w jak najkrótszym czasie. Był bardzo ambitny i wierny systemowi, w którym żył. Całkowicie podporządkował mu swoje życie. Jego obsesja doprowadziła go do skrajnej otyłości i degradacji fizycznej. Stał się wręcz uosobieniem nadmiaru – człowiekiem zredukowanym do funkcji konsumowania."

"Taxidermia – Kálmán Balatonyi: A heavy, swollen body, devoid of harmony and control – tells the story of extreme, destructive consumption. The constant pursuit of comfort and abundance ultimately stripped us of our identity, leading to stagnation. Kalman Balatonyi was raised under communist rule. His "profession" was sports eating – he consumed enormous quantities of food in the shortest possible time. He was highly ambitious and loyal to the system in which he lived. He completely subordinated his life to it. His obsession led him to extreme obesity and physical degradation. He became the embodiment of excess – a man reduced to the function of consuming."
