O Capelinhos venceu o Prémio Terroir & Viticultura nos Troféus Paixão Pelo Vinho 2026! 🥳🍾

Um reconhecimento maravilhoso que significa muito para nós, pois celebra exatamente aquilo que define o Capelinhos: um vinho nascido de solos vulcânicos, ventos atlânticos e de uma viticultura heroica à beira do oceano. In 2016, we took on the challenge to bring back viticulture to Faial, replanting native vines directly into the ashes of the 1957 volcanic eruption. A decade later, we are still the only producer on the island.
The result just arrived. 🏆 Capelinhos, 100% made with Faial indigenous grapes, received the Prémio Excelência from .

Em 2016, assumimos o desafio de devolver a viticultura ao Faial, replantando castas nativas diretamente nas cinzas da erupção vulcânica de 1957. Uma década depois, continuamos a ser os únicos produtores na ilha.
