Slow, steady, with love, with passion, present, inspired. Those moments Delância was made for.

Although our life of building Delância can be hectic, unpredictable, as yours may feel, we are lucky that the region we are in represents the slow life 🌳

Our second love letter to Dishoom … 💌🥂

Everyone who tries Delância tells us how perfectly it would pair with Dishoom. And after visiting the UK and eating there ourselves, we absolutely agree! (We LOVED it.)

So, naturally, we brought a little Dishoom magic home and cooked the gorgeous Prawn Moilee, Chilli Cheese Toast and Gunpowder Potatoes from the Dishoom cookbook, all served with a chilled bottle of Delância. (Well, a few actually.) 💃

And the pairing? A match made in heaven.

Breaking rules, beautifully. 🥂 Harvest edition!! 🍇

10 days.
32°C average temperatures.
5:30am starts. Midnight finishes.
60 tonnes of grapes.
SO MUCH FUN! (and a little bit of craziness…)

And approximately 1,500,000 things that did not go to plan.
Finding enough boxes was a mission. We lost juice from the truck. Broke the truck door. Called in the camper van for backup. And, at one point, quite literally picked grapes back up off the ground.

But 700 boxes made it to the winery. 🍇

We’ve still got one final part of harvest to go, but for now our orange, white and rosé are naturally fermenting, slowly developing their personalities and becoming a little more Delância every day. 💃🥂
